UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVE VISION - USA
Learn to Imagine the Impossible.
Bring it to Life.
Hosted by the ever so talented Judy Reinford
Bath PA, USA
MARCH 21st - MARCH 23rd 2025
THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU IF YOU'RE PASSIONATE ABOUT photography, DRIVEN TO DEVELOP YOUR CREATIVE BRAIN, AND READY TO MASTER THE ART OF CONCEPTUAL THINKING TO CREATE UNIQUE, STORY-DRIVEN PET COMPOSITES.
MEET YOUR HOST
Hi, I’m Belinda, an internationally award-winning pet photographer and the creative mind behind Frog Dog Studios. My passion lies not only in capturing the personalities of animals but in bringing them to life through imaginative, story-driven artwork that goes beyond traditional portraits. Over the years, I’ve honed the skills to transform creative concepts into captivating pet composites that delight clients and resonate with art lovers worldwide.
In this workshop, I’m thrilled to share how I’ve trained my creative brain to think conceptually, developing ideas that start as sketches and evolve into polished, high-end pieces. We’ll dive deep into the art of concept development—from finding inspiration and shaping ideas to refining every detail through trial and error. I'll walk you through the entire process, including a live shooting demonstration and intensive post-processing sessions, where you’ll work alongside me to create your own unique pet composite.
Join me this March in Bath, Pennsylvania, and let’s explore the boundless potential of pet photography together. I can’t wait to see where your creative journey takes you!
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Unlock Your Creative Brain
Learn how to train your mind to think conceptually and find inspiration from unexpected sources, from art, film and the everyday.Idea Generation
I will share my process for coming up with ideas and how many of them end up in the cutting room floor only to occasionally be resurrected years down the track.
Storytelling in Pet Photography
Discover how to turn a photo into a story, exploring the elements that make composites captivating and memorable.Developing Your Vision
Translate ideas into written and visual plans to help you develop and make strategic decisions which will save time and money. How to Plan A Successful Shoot
Successful composites start with a successful shoot. Let’s look at the essentials you should be thinking about prior to picking up the camera.
Live Shooting Demo
We will take all that planning and put it into action! First I will demonstrate, explaining along the way why I am doing things a certain way and then there will be time for all participants to shoot models and props so they can take these away to practice with at home.
Building Your Masterpiece
I know this is what you all want so we will be spending a whole day on learning in depth editing techniques to help you build your composites flawlessly. During this time I will be teaching you about keeping an organised file and the importance of non-destructive editing, perspective, shadow and light and many other tips to help you create believable scenes. There is no better feeling than when a seasoned artist has to ask you because they can’t tell if it is real or not!

TESTIMONIALS

‘I recently did Belinda’s ‘Posing Pets for Profit’ workshop and it was a total game-changer for me. With the generosity of knowledge that Belinda shared, I now feel like I have a well-tested recipe from which to begin my Pet Portrait studio offering. Belinda taught us everything from how to communicate with your clients at the (very important) initial consultation right through to how to sell and exactly what products work well for this type of portraiture. After taking Belinda’s workshop I now feel confident, prepared and excited to bring some four legged friends into my studio space! Thank you so much for being so very generous with your knowledge and skills. Highly recommended.'
